- Dakini
Kula Circle. We hold authentic lineage directly from Tibet and India.
Our tradition is that of the Female Sky-walkers, or Diamond Yoginis. Those
new to the tradition may be surprised how much is familar to them: We cast
a circle and banish traditonally, before starting practice, and gather in
Mandala circles. Female witches in our tradition are called "Dakinis", (males
are Dakas). Ritual tools may also be familiar: the athame is called
a "Kartri" or "Kartari" or "Phurba". The Wand and Cup are referred to as
the Vajra "thunderbolt-diamond" and Kapala (or Ghanta), meaning "graal or
bell". We gather on various days during the month for what we call "ganachakra",or
"the gathering circle"; especially on new and full moons. We meet either at
our main location in Old City Philadelphia, or in forest groves and nature
spots. If you are looking for more information, please contact us.
- Delaware Valley
Pagan Network This group has two goals. First, to establish a physical
location that all pagans in the region can look to as a focal point
for community activity and support. They publish a newsletter as the
primary method of outreach, and have a presence on the Internet. Secondly,
they plan to present a unified face to the public at large, initially
by way of a public event (workshops, seminars, etc.), but eventually on
an ongoing basis by participating in high profile community activities such
as the AIDS Walk, service to the needy (Meals on Wheels, etc.), and as partners
to other religious and secular organizations. All pagan traditions welcome,
solitaries as well. If interested, check out the website to learn more or get on the mailing
list.
- The DelVal Reclaiming
Community. The members of the Delaware Valley Reclaiming Community
practice Witchcraft in the Reclaiming Tradition, support each other
in our spiritual journeys, support each other's personal empowerment
and the empowerment of our community to effect change in the world
as reflected in the Reclaiming
Principles of Unity. Currently members meet for ritual, potluck suppers,
a regular monthly study groups, classes, and for political action as the
spirit moves us. Reclaiming is a living, evolving and teaching tradition
that is non-hierarchical, with participants sharing power and working to
reach decisions through consensus. We believe that sacredness and spiritual
authority are inherent in each of us. Our style of ritual has been described
through the words "ecstatic, improvisational, ensemble, inspired, organic."
More information relevant to our community can be found at www.delvalreclaiming.org,
Brightflame's website, and the
Reclaming website. For specific
organizational questions or details on upcoming events, please email
info@delvalreclaiming.org.

- Sacred
Crossroads is a British Traditional Wiccan coven with both Gardnerian
and Alexandrian lineage which follows a three degree system of initiation
and elevation. We are based in the Mainline Philadelphia area and offer
training to men and women interested in following a traditional, oath-bound
path. Although our Craft practice follows a strict traditional structure,
we use that structure as a framework and build on it in a way that allows
the freedom to express personal spiritual beliefs and concepts of deity.
We encourage members to use their creativity to bring a fullness and richness
to their ritual and magickal practice. We offer open ritual to the community
for each Sabbat. Special classes and workshops are offered occasionally
as well. See our website at http://www.SacredCrossroads.com
for more information.

- Order of the Evening Star follows
the Clarian tradition of the Religio Terranova (New World Paganism).
The Clarian Tradition is the rebirth
of an ancient path that existed in both Greek and Roman era. Claros
was the site of an ancient Oracle near Colophon in Ionia. Temples were
established there to our main deities, who are Apollo Clarius and Diana
Claria. It is through their decree that this tradition has been renewed
for the modern day and in a modern way. The Clarian Tradition contains
elements of Pythagoreanism, Orphicism, Stoic philosophy, and a generous
portion of Stregheria from an old Italian line. It's foundation is thousands
of years old, but the Temple of our Tradition, which is built upon that
foundation, is new. Our tradition has three main degrees with three advanced
degrees beyond 3rd. We teach harmony,
balance, rapport, connection, and responsibility. We focus primarily on
teaching new neophytes how to reconnect their spiritual and physical bodies
to all the planes of existence. Once that has been done, we teach the
art of maintaining harmony within and without. When one is in harmony with
the Universe, the Gods will provide. We teach and drill visualization
skills, healing arts, personal growth, "shamanic" skills, prophecy, and
communication with nature spirits (faeries) . Magic is only taught to
initiates within the Clarian Tradition. If one chooses to go through all
the elevations, one will not only become a mystic, but an actual oracle
of the Gods.
Lunar rites are closed and Solar festivals are by invitation
only. Please inquire with Diana Grayfox (ladydiana@religioterranova.org)
for more information. For more information, please
email Lady Grayfox ladydiana@religioterranova.org
or visit the website.

- Roses, Too! is a coven of eclectic feminist Witches

are held in private homes and parks in and around Philadelphia. We are
passionate about good food, smart women, singing, silliness, science
fiction, social justice, nature, and self-reflection. Our spiritual backgrounds
are diverse: Catholic, Congregationalist, Episcopalian, Jewish, Pagan,
Quaker, Scientific Pantheist, and more. Our potluck community includes
women, men, children, cats, houseplants, and composting worms, who follow
a number of different spiritual paths. Our emphasis is on building supportive
community. We therefore ask those interested in doing ritual with us

expression of spirituality that empowers us to walk our own paths and
